Six topics covering the partner journey, from what AEPS, DMT, and BBPS are to registration, daily counter operations, and staying safe. Anything not answered here goes to the support desk.

01General

Paymitraa is a product of Shri Dariyav Doorstep Services Private Limited (SDDS) — a digital service network for assisted banking, payments, and retailer growth across India. It brings everyday fintech services — AEPS, money transfer, bill payments, recharge, Micro ATM, PAN/GST filing support, and (planned) travel, ticketing, insurance and finance enquiries — into organised, role-wise counter journeys so a local retailer can deliver them with clear support behind every transaction.

Paymitraa is a product of Shri Dariyav Doorstep Services Private Limited (SDDS). The company’s support desk is reachable at helpdesk@sddspl.in and +91 92160 51652, and its official profiles are on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

The network runs on three partner layers:

  • Retailer — runs daily fintech services at the counter with wallet, receipt, and support access.
  • Distributor — manages retailer onboarding, credit allocation, service activation, and settlement follow-up.
  • Subsidiary — monitors regional operations, approves distributors, and holds report and audit visibility.

You choose your layer during registration, and the desk confirms it at activation.

Operations are organised around growth belts rather than a single office footprint: a North and West focus (Delhi NCR, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana, Maharashtra), a Central and East expansion (Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal), and a South growth belt (Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala). The Network page maps these zones, and the connect form on the Contact page lists districts for 16 states.

The Paymitraa network includes 18,500+ retailers, 850+ distributors, and 28+ subsidiary zones across its operating belts in India. The Network page shows how these partners are organised by region and role.

02Account & Registration

Open the registration form, choose your role (retailer, distributor, or subsidiary), and share your name, business or shop name, mobile number, email, and location. The support desk then guides you through activation.

Document requirements vary by role and by the services you plan to offer, and they change as regulatory requirements change. The support desk confirms the current list for your role when your registration is reviewed, so nothing is collected before it is needed.

Activation follows verification of your details and, for retailers, confirmation from the distributor handling your area. The support desk shares the expected timeline when your registration is reviewed.

Use the Member Login page with your registered mobile number or email and your password. One login covers your whole counter — the access, controls, and reports you see are the ones that match your layer in the network.

Use the “Forgot password? Contact support” link on the login page, or contact the support desk at helpdesk@sddspl.in or +91 92160 51652 during working hours. Password resets on a partner account are treated as a sensitive action and move only after verified approval.

03Services

The core categories are AEPS services, domestic money transfer (DMT), BBPS bill pay, recharge, Micro ATM, and PAN/GST and e-tax support. Travel and ticket booking and insurance and finance enquiries are planned (coming soon). The Services page describes what each one covers at counter level.

No. Service activation is role-wise and is handled by the distributor layer, so the set available at a counter reflects the partner’s role, location, and completed verification rather than a single fixed bundle.

Yes. The Paymitraa Android app is available on Google Play. Further dashboard features and payment and banking API connections are part of the planned work described on the Company page.

AEPS (Aadhaar Enabled Payment System) is an NPCI system that lets a customer withdraw cash, check their balance, or get a mini statement at a retail counter using their Aadhaar number and fingerprint, without a debit card or PIN. Paymitraa retailers offer AEPS as a nearby banking point for their customers.

DMT lets a customer send money to any bank account in India through a retailer. The retailer verifies the sender’s mobile number, adds the receiver’s account number and IFSC, and sends the transfer through banking channels such as IMPS, with a receipt for the customer. Limits and KYC rules follow RBI guidelines and the partner bank.

BBPS (Bharat Bill Payment System) is an interoperable bill payment system under the NPCI group. It lets an authorised outlet collect electricity, water, gas, broadband, DTH, FASTag, loan EMI, and many other bills, and every payment gets a BBPS reference number for tracking.

A Micro ATM is a portable device that lets customers withdraw cash and check their balance with their debit card and PIN at a retail shop, while the retailer pays the cash from the counter. Micro ATM devices commonly support AEPS as well.

04Payments & Settlement

Retailers operate against a wallet with visibility of their own balance and transaction history. Distributors handle credit allocation and settlement follow-up for the retailers under them, and the subsidiary layer holds report and audit visibility across the region.

Commercial terms differ by role, service, and volume, and they are confirmed as part of onboarding rather than published as a single rate card.

Raise it with the support desk with the transaction reference and date. Transaction history is kept clear and audit-ready specifically so cases like this can be reviewed and reported.

05Security

Sensitive actions on a partner account move only after verified, OTP-led approval, and permissions are role-wise so a partner sees the controls that match their layer. Transaction records are kept clear for review and reporting.

Act immediately: call the National Cyber Crime Helpline 1930 or file a complaint at cybercrime.gov.in, ask your bank to block your card, account, or UPI, and inform the Paymitraa support desk at helpdesk@sddspl.in or +91 92160 51652 with the transaction reference, date, amount, and any numbers or messages used by the fraudster. You can report a suspicious call or message even if no money was lost.

No. Do not share your password or any OTP with anyone, including someone claiming to be from the support desk or from your distributor. If you receive such a request, treat it as suspicious and report it.

Data handling, retention, and your rights over your information are set out in the Privacy Policy. Your use of the site and of partner services is governed by the Terms & Conditions.

Give a fingerprint only for a transaction you asked for and check the amount on screen. Customers can also lock their Aadhaar biometrics on the official UIDAI portal (myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in) or the mAadhaar app and unlock them only when needed. Always keep the receipt or check the bank SMS after the transaction.

Report any unauthorised electronic transaction to your bank as quickly as possible — under RBI’s customer protection framework, quick reporting (ideally within three working days) can limit your liability. If the bank does not resolve your complaint within 30 days, or you are not satisfied with its reply, you can complain under the RBI Integrated Ombudsman Scheme at cms.rbi.org.in.
